In April of 2018, our dreams finally came true! We were able to purchase a property located at the gateway to Napa. The property is nestled on Cuttings Wharf Road in beautiful Carneros. To provide first class care for rescued animals, the new location will need to go through an approximate two-year build-out. This effort is generously led by renowned architect Howard Backen of Backen, Gillam & Kroeger Architects and Tim McDonald of Centric Construction with plans to build a campus for animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages. The site had previously been used for animal boarding for decades, but its future includes cage-free accommodations for animals, and a home for our many programs and services, all open to the public so education and awareness will be carried far and wide. The Ranch will also serve as the organization’s headquarters for animal rescue and evacuation during a natural disaster.
Not only will this property change the course for animal rescue in our region, we are in full-swing advancing (with lightning speed) programming to benefit all domestic animals.
We are incredibly grateful to those of you who have been supporting us from the beginning of this journey in 2014, and for those that are just learning about JARR for the first time and will join us on our new adventures. The road is long ahead of us and we hope you’ll choose to travel it with us. To learn more about the plan for The Ranch and to get involved, please connect with Monica@jamesonrescueranch.org.
