One of our most active programs, JARR relies on its incredible foster volunteers to help save animals from pigs to sheep and horses, from dogs and cats to bunnies, our foster homes provide the backbone of our adoption program. JARR provides all necessary support: supplies, food, and medical attention. Our cats and dogs are either surrendered by their owners, pulled from the shelter system, or taken in when the owners have died. As we have limited space at our property, all of our animals placed in loving foster homes are fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed/neutered, before we put them up for adoption.
