Grants for Global Stewardship Program
Overview
We’re thrilled to unveil the Grants for Global Stewardship Program! Although we’ve made great strides in animal welfare over the past decade, we can now do so much more by supporting and inspiring others through catalytic grants. This next chapter isn’t just about continuing the work—it’s about accelerating it.
As Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” This program is a reflection of that spirit—an invitation to work together to create meaningful, lasting change.

A Mission of Protection, Innovation, and Stewardship At its core, the Grants for Global Stewardship Program is dedicated to saving animals and the planet, and ending suffering through innovation, impact, protection, compassion, and stewardship across the country. Through a thoughtful, outcomes-driven grantmaking process, this national program will fund life-saving projects based on their potential to create a better world—for animals, for people, and for the planet we share. Spearheaded by Monica Stevens, with the support of Board Member Joann Serafini and a trusted network of advocates, this program is the result of combined thought-leadership and activism in the animal and environmental welfare space. It’s more than a program. It’s a transformational movement! |

Each grant awarded is more than a gift—it’s a ripple of impact. A chance to empower the visionaries and doers who are out there, every day, building a more humane, sustainable world. A Platform for Lasting Change Together, we’re constructing a new platform for long-term impact—one rooted in shared values, collective action, and strategic generosity. This is how we lead with compassion. This is how we drive innovation. This is how we protect what matters most. Let’s fund the future and make a better world. |
